Blood Pressure Checks and ABPM · FREE NHS
Free NHS blood pressure checks for eligible patients, including adults aged 40 and over who have not previously been diagnosed with hypertension.
Clinic blood pressure checks and 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM) may also be available where clinically appropriate or requested by a GP practice.
Smoking Cessation · FREE NHS
Free NHS stop smoking support.
We dispense NHS stop smoking vouchers and Nicotine Replacement Therapy products.
Our pharmacist can provide advice on stopping smoking. Structured follow-up support is provided by Smokefree Liverpool.

Flu Vaccination · FREE NHS
Free NHS flu vaccination during the NHS flu season for eligible patients.
Please ask at the counter to check current availability and eligibility.
New Medicine Service · FREE NHS
Free NHS support for patients starting certain new medicines.
The service includes advice, counselling, and follow-up support to help you get the best from your new medication.
Contraception Service · FREE NHS
Free NHS contraception service, including emergency contraception and oral contraception where clinically appropriate.
This is a confidential service. Please ask at the counter.
Care at the Chemist · FREE NHS, subject to local NHS scheme criteria
NHS Care at the Chemist scheme.
Patients can receive advice and treatment for selected minor ailments without needing a GP appointment, subject to local NHS scheme criteria.
Palliative Care Medicines Service · NHS commissioned service
We are an NHS palliative care medicines service provider.
We hold selected palliative care medicines to support timely access for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.
A valid NHS prescription is usually required.

Spacer Provision Service · FREE NHS, subject to eligibility
We provide spacer devices for eligible patients using inhalers, under the locally commissioned Liverpool spacer provision service.
This service supports patients who need a spacer to use their inhaler more effectively.
Eligibility criteria apply. This service is normally for patients registered with participating Liverpool GP practices or covered by the relevant local NHS pathway.
Specialist Infant Formula Supply · NHS referral or prescription pathway
We dispense specialist infant formula supplied through NHS referral or prescribing pathways, including referrals from children's dietetic services where applicable.
This is not a walk-in retail service. Patients should follow the advice of their GP, health visitor, midwife, or dietitian.
Pharmacy First
Common Condition Consultations Without a GP Appointment
Pharmacy First is a free NHS consultation service. Our pharmacist can assess a range of common conditions and, where clinically appropriate, provide treatment under NHS criteria without you needing to see a GP first.
The pharmacist will assess your symptoms and advise on the most appropriate next step. Treatment may be supplied under NHS criteria where clinically appropriate. Some patients may still need to be referred to another healthcare professional.
Walk in and ask at the counter. No GP appointment is needed for the initial pharmacy consultation.

Weight Management Programme · PRIVATE
Pharmacist-led weight management programme.
Following a pharmacist consultation, we will discuss suitable lifestyle support and clinically appropriate options.

Private blood pressure checks and 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring available to patients who do not meet NHS eligibility criteria.
No GP referral is required.

Private flu vaccination may be available during the flu season for patients who are not eligible for the free NHS flu vaccination.

Prescription Delivery · Small fee applies
Nominate us as your pharmacy and your GP can send your prescriptions to us electronically. Once received, we will dispense your medication and, if requested, deliver it to you within a 3 mile radius. A small delivery fee applies.
